This technical workshop is designed for educators who are interested in exploring the cyber range and want to augment their knowledge and teaching qualifications for cybersecurity students. The first three days of the workshop will cover the introductory/intermediate-level content, and the last two days will be for advanced levels. The participant will be immersed in various hands-on activities using spotlights, labs, and live-fire exercises based on real-world scenarios.

The participants will learn how to create and manage realistic cybersecurity scenarios, assess student progress using the NICE and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks, and identify skill gaps. Metro State's cybersecurity program uses Cyberbit, the world’s most advanced cybersecurity skills development platform, to deliver the theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience students need to succeed in the workforce.

This workshop is ideal for faculty who want to stay ahead of the curve in cybersecurity education. It is led by experienced Cyberbit instructors who are passionate about cybersecurity education. Participants will walk away from the workshop with the knowledge and skills they need to use Cyber-bit’s cyber range to teach and train their students effectively, providing them with the skills required to succeed in today’s cybersecurity landscape.
