Event Begins and Ends Posted 01 Feb 2022 3:08 PM

The Maryland Innovation and Security Institute (MISI), in partnership with US Cyber Command, will host Hack the Port 22 in Ft Lauderdale, FL 21-25 March 2022.  In addition to conference briefings and exhibits, there will be an Academic Village with a cyber-competition and lectures.  More information on the conference is available at Hack the Port 22

The NCAE-C PMO has been invited to sponsor teams to compete in the competition. Slots for five teams have been reserved for NCAE-C teams to participate live, and an additional five teams to participate virtually. The PMO will guarantee travel and per diem costs for five teams of five students and one NCAE-C faculty member from each participating designated program chosen for the live event to travel to the event from Sunday, March 20 to Saturday, March 26 (based on government rates).  Each team participating live will be allowed to have an additional five students providing support virtually to the live team (open source research, etc). View the presentation attached below.

NCAE-C institutions not sending a live team may also nominate teams to participate in the competition virtually; five virtual team slots are available exclusively for NCAE-C teams.

Free registration is available to any NCAE-C student or faculty wishing to attend the event virtually.  Registration information can be found at the Hack the Port website.
