Professional Development Opportunity for High School Educators

The National Cybersecurity Teaching Coalition (NCTC) is now enrolling for the Foundations of Cybersecurity online course — a flexible, 3-credit graduate-level course built for high school educators.

This self-paced, asynchronous course is based on the ACM CSEC Curriculum Guidelines and covers:
· Trustworthy Cyberspace
· Secure System Principles and Tools
· Vulnerabilities, Exploits, and Attacks
· Defending Data in the Digital Age
· Cybersecurity in Context

Key Information:
· Registration Open: May 26, 2025-August 1, 2025
· Course Starts: June 15, 2025
· Course Ends: No later than August 31, 2025 (all work must be done by this date)
· Cost: $350 upfront / $200 refunded after successful completion
· PD Credit: Up to 45 hours
· Graduate Credit: 3 credits available through UA Little Rock or UMGC if you complete the course and enroll in the NCTA graduate certificate
