Course Description: This course provides all materials, flash cards, and the CISSP CBK. As an (ISC)2 Global Academic Program (GAP) Member, CSSIA will be offering the CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) training. This training course will review and refresh your information security knowledge and help identify areas you may need to study for the CISSP exam. The CISSP exam tests one’s competence in the ten CISSP domains of the (ISC)2 CBK, which cover critical topics in security today, including risk management, cloud computing, mobile security, application development security and more; it is one of the most sought-after certifications in today’s information security industry. Instruction will also utilize labs developed that align with the NSA Knowledge Units.

The CSSIA program provides a comprehensive approach to professional cyber defense training:

The vendor-neutral CISSP certification is the ideal credential for those with proven deep technical and managerial competence, skills, experience, and credibility to design, engineer, implement, and manage their overall information security program to protect organizations from growing sophisticated attacks. Backed by (ISC)², the globally recognized, nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the information security field, the CISSP was the first credential in the field of information security to meet the stringent requirements of ISO/IEC Standard 17024. Not only is the CISSP an objective measure of excellence, but also a globally recognized standard of achievement.

Please visit cssia.org to register. Please note, you must pay upfront to enroll, and the stipend will be delivered after course completion. Please consider your colleagues as well; accounting faculty with an interest in cybersecurity should be particularly keen for the CISA course.
