CfIA to host Password Safety Professional Development Workshop

The Center for Information Assurance (CfIA) at the University of Memphis will be offering a series of Professional Development workshops to the general public. The first workshop will be March 16 from 1 to 5 p.m. in the UC Beale Room (363). The first session will focus on password safety. Participants will be introduced to the basics of cybersecurity, the concept of cyber identity, hash functions and multi-factor authentication. There will be other cybersecurity-related topics offered in the future.
