Training for CAE peer reviewers, mentors, advisors, and pre-submission reviewers

Join us on at the CAE Principals Meeting, June 6 to discuss how your institution can contribute to the CAE Community by becoming a CAE Mentor or Peer Reviewer. This session will be led by Corrinne Sande, from Whatcomm Community College, and Maraget Leary, from Northern Virginia Community College. Faculty from institutions designated as NSA-DHS National Centers of Academic Excellence (CAE) are invited to participate in a workshop that will provide training for various roles to support the CAE application process, including Mentoring and Peer Review of candidates for CAE CDE/2Y/R designation.

Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Registration deadline: May 31, 2017

Limited funds are available to support regional travel to the workshop. In order to receive a stipend you must register and be approved by the organizers. In order to be eligible for reimbursement or a travel stipend, attendees must participate in the workshop, not be receiving travel support from any other source, and complete a travel reimbursement/stipend form provided on site. If you are approved for a travel stipend, you will be notified.

This workshop and travel funds are being funded by the CAE Regional Resource Center (CRRC) at the University of West Florida, the CAE National Resource Center (CNRC) at Northern Virginia Community College and the Catalyzing Computing and the Cybersecurity in Community Colleges (C5) grant, funded by the National Science Foundation and based at Whatcom Community College.
