VIVID Competition Application Spring 2024

Overview 

The Virtual Internship and Varied Innovative Demonstrations (VIVID) Coalition comprised of the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Augusta University, University of Arizona, and Florida International University has competition opportunities available for college students to compete in teams of five. Multiple teams from the same College or University are allowed. Please register all team members at the same time on this form. All 5 team members must be students from the same CAE school. Registration is extended until 29 FEB 2024!  New teams will be notified each Thursday until 29 FEB.

Objective

The virtual competition will be offered to address the problem of helping students translate academic learning to cybersecurity practice and competency in a work role or job as well as the opportunity to earn as they learn.

Important Information

The first phase of the competition is a virtual event taking place from 11-14 March 2024.  The top 15 teams will compete in the live event to continue the competition at the CAE Annual Colloquium in October 2024.  Travel stipends will be provided to offset travel costs for those teams competing in the live event.
