NSA senior leader, Rob Joyce, who is currently serving as the Special U.S. Liaison Officer at the U.S. Embassy in London, will join us for the first Coffee & Conversation of the new year, happening on Tuesday, January 12 at 9:00 am ET.

About Robert Joyce

Rob Joyce is the Special U.S. Liaison Officer London (SUSLOL), the senior National Security Agency (NSA) cryptologic representative in the United Kingdom. Mr. Joyce has worked at NSA since 1989, holding various leadership positions within key focus areas of NSA, including the Cybersecurity and Signals Intelligence missions.

His previous position was the Senior Advisor for Cybersecurity Strategy to the NSA Director, following an assignment as the Special Assistant to the President and Cybersecurity Coordinator at the White House, where he led the development of national and international cybersecurity strategy and policy for the United States and oversaw implementation of those policies. In addition to the Cybersecurity Coordinator role, Mr. Joyce was the Acting Homeland Security Advisor, covering topics well beyond cybersecurity to include terrorism, health security, and disaster response/recovery.

From 2013 to 2017, Mr. Joyce served as the Chief of Tailored Access Operations (TAO), after spending time as the Deputy Director of the Information Assurance Directorate (IAD) at NSA.
