What is CHI?

CHI (Cybersecurity High school Innovations) is a teacher development program to prepare teachers to instruct high school cybersecurity courses and train teachers how to run an afterschool cybersecurity competition club. Five weeks of synchronous and asynchronous classes precede an in-person summer intensive. CHI courses provide three different focuses.

  • Year One - Introduction to Cybersecurity.  

  • Year Two – Security+ Fundamentals Bootcamp 

  • Year Two/Three – Competitions & Mentorship

The schedule of 2024-2025:

​

  • On-line (Jun 10, 2024 – July 13, 2024) all session are recorded 

  • In-person (July 23, 2024 – July 26, 2024) hosted in 3 different locations.

  • Mentoring support (Aug 2024 – Dec 2024) peer mentoring is available.
