
North/Central Cybersecurity Workshop with the NJCCIC and CISA

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and the NJCCIC will be hosting a no-cost North/Central New Jersey public sector cybersecurity workshop at Kean University on September 19 from 8:00AM - 1:00PM.
Workshop Topics
Cybersecurity Threat Landscape in New Jersey: We will take a deep dive into the current state of cyber threats in New Jersey.
NJCCIC Resources: We will discuss the resources available from the NJCCIC.
CISA Resources: A review of CISA’s no-cost services and resources will include .gov registration, vulnerability/web application scanning, and tabletop exercise support.
CISA's Cybersecurity Performance Goals (CPGs) Assessment Workshop: CISA Cybersecurity Advisors will guide attendees through the 38-question assessment. Participants will be asked about their organizations’ policies from the perspective of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework: Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, & Recover. Upon completion, this assessment will generate a report highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.
*Attendees will need to install the CSET tool on a Windows PC ahead of the workshop.*
A light breakfast and lunch will be served.
